Chicago’s Metropolitan Deli has been open for more than 8 years.

New owners, Steve Lukis and Darin Freitas, who were long time customers of founder Terri Terry; purchased the business in March 2011. Like Terri before them, they believe that the secret to success is being visible to the customers, making sure that they are happy and satisfied. Chicago’s Metropolitan Deli is the only Chicago style restaurant in the Tri Valley and East Bay area. We specialize in Italian Beef Sandwiches with sweet peppers and giardiniera (spicy peppers) as well as serving authentic famous “Chicago Hot Dogs” along with Beef and Lamb Gyro’s, and of course Spicy Italian Sandwiches.

We have casual dining with 3 sports TV’s, ice cold beer, and a variety of authentic chicago style foods.

We offer an extensive kids menu for a nice variety for the entire family. We serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner from 6am – 9pm Sunday thru Thursday, and are open until 10pm on Friday and Saturday.
